This highly detailed patriotic 2024 Thunderbirds 2" Challenge coin depicts the Six Jet Delta Formation flying vertical against a ghosted-back American Flag, the two banners read, "America's Team ~ Since 1953". The opposite side portrays the high performance solo aircraft in full afterburner against a deep blue background. The coin was designed by aviation artist Michael J. Cooney and produced in limited quantity.
Produced as die struck brass, silver plated 2 inch diameter, 3 millimeters thick. This two sided design is highly detailed, hand enameled with vibrant color and diamond cut edge.
