"This full color screen print T-Shirt designed by aviation artist Michael J. Cooney was first created from a breathtaking masterpiece in oil on canvas titled 'Heritage Flight'. The original painting was pre sold to a private collector, however a complimentary design was the spin off of one of the many products he created from this original work. Michael, known for his intricate artistic detail,depicts the USAF Thunderbirds flying their original F-84G Thunderjets flown at the inception of the Team in 1953. The historic property of this design also reflects the F-16C Fighting Falcon currently flown by the team today. Set against a spectacular landscape of red rock and open canyons found throughout the southwest the Thunderbirds commerative 'Heritage Flight' showcases past to present aircraft as well as the Native-American folklore of the 'Thunderbird'.
